I was looking for a designer to help me bring life into my home and help me elevate my space and make it unique to fit my personality. I hired Lubin Akala Design to try with 1 room before deciding to do multiple rooms in my home. After the 1 room was completed, I was so pleased with the whole process and the outcome. Giselaine, the owner, was very attentive, very patient with my many desires, she collaborated with me and got to know who I am and what I’m looking for and did not waste time to start working and coming up with an E design that I was blown away by.
Just days after speaking with me, she came back with a full plan and gave me some great ideas on what else I can do to the other available space in my home. Once everything was put together, I was really amazed at the outcome. It was just what I needed, so, without any hesitation, we worked on 3 additional rooms in my home and she worked great with my budget. I would certainly recommend her services if you are looking for a classy, and elegant look while on a budget.

As a working mom and a mom of two toddlers I could not imagine working with anyone else on my home. I worked with Giselaine on multiple projects. She was patient, professional and detail-oriented. I then came across Lubin on Instagram. Beginning with my first day of reviewing her Instagram posts, I could tell that she was the right person to help me transition my home in to an amazing relaxing space that both my family and I could all fall in love with and enjoy daily. I’m grateful to work with someone like her who is assertive, vigilant and supportive! Giselaine is always available, responsive but most importantly willing to listen to your needs and your vision. I found Gisel on Instagram after purchasing a new home. I noticed that we had similar styles and inquired on if she did e-design work for clients out-of-state. She instantly replied to my inquiry and has made my entire interior design process less stressful. Gisel is talented, easy to work with, and has been flexible with my busy schedule. She has worked with my budget and found good quality pieces of furniture and decor that works for my modern home and are not very expensive. She listens and takes pride in her work.
